2023 NEXTZERO Residential Energy Incentives & Rebates
NEXTZERO is a residential efficiency program provided by the Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC) and provides efficiency services to the residents of Peabody and other Massachusetts Municipal Light Plants.

Documentation Required for Processing Rebates:

- Copy of Your Dated 2023 Sales Receipt
- Copy of Your Electric Bill
Wi-Fi Thermostat/HVAC Control Rebate Eligibility is based on Customer's Home Having at Least One of the Following
- Electric Heat
- Central A/C
- Air source heat pumps
- Ductless mini-split heat pumps
Limit 1 Wi-Fi Thermomstat or up to two HVAC Control rebates per customer per year. HVAC Controls must be Connected Homes eligible (call or go to www.NEXTZERO.org for current List)
Allow 6-8 Weeks for Processing. Rebates are issued in the form of a credit applied to a PMLP electric account.

Qualified Appliances Must Be Purchased between 01/01/23 and 12/31/23 and Postmarked by 01/31/24.
Appliance Eligibility is Based on the Appliance List at www.energystar.gov.
One Rebate of Each of the Above Appliances every 3 Years. (See exception to wifi thermostats + HVAC controls listed above.)
PMLP Reserves the Right to End these Rebates at Any Time.

- Size in Tons
- Total Installation Cost
- AHRI Certificate (obtained from your Contractor)
- Copy of "ACCA Approved Version 8 Manual J" Load (Sizing) Calculation (Note: Manual J not needed for ductless mini-split systems.)

Terms & Conditions for 2023 NEXTZERO Efficient Heating + Cooling Rebate Program:
- Ductless mini-split cooling-only units are not eligible.
- Limit (1) rebate per customer per program year for air source or ground source heat pumps.
- Limit (2) rebates per customer per program year for ductless mini-split heat pumps
- Must be purchased between 1/1/2023 and 12/31/2023.
- Applications must be postmarked by 1/31/2024 and sent to the address above.

Only NEW Yard Equipment is Eligible for Rebate; Refurbished or Used Not Eligible
- Snowblowers must be a minimum of 60 amps and 21" wide
- Device Must be Cordless, with a Rechargeable Battery
- Maximum Rebate is 50% of the Purchase Price of Each Item
- If Multiple Tools Purchased in a Bundle. Use 1 Form per Bundle; Check All Tools in Bundle
